I recently heard that a poll is reporting that over 60% of the American people believe that a terrorist attack will occur in the U.S. sometime in this year.  I also heard that over 60% of the American people do not support the War on terror.  What is with this?  I believe that there are a significant number of us that still don't get it. 

Despite the conservative media flourishing and the obvious bias of  most of the national media outlets, the people continue to rely too heavily on those national outlets for their daily dose of events.  I realize that old habits are hard to break, but we really need to help others break their information habits.  Talk to your friends and acquaintences about this and let them know where you get your information, whether it's from online sources, talk radio or even Fox news.

I still believe that there is hope, faint but still there, that Americans are capable of changing.  I hope they do before some terrorist sets off a nuclear device here.
